Do I need an account to place an order?

Yes, you must have an online account in order to make an individual purchase on RepDirect.com. Enterprise customers do not need to create accounts in order to make a purchase.

How do I create an account?

Creating an account is easy. In the top right corner, click ‘Sign In.’ You’ll be redirected to our partner, hStream Identity, to create your RepDirect account. On this page, below the ‘Sign In’ button, is a link to ‘Register Now.’ By clicking this link, you'll be redirected to the account creation page. All you need to create an account is a valid email and phone number.

Once you've successfully created an account through hStream Identity, the system also creates an account for you to access any products you purchase on the RepDirect site. Check your email after you purchase a product for more information about your HLC account.

What are my Payment Options?

The RepDirect Store currently accepts orders through credit card only. After completing your online order, you will have access to the RepDirect courses you purchased for 12 months.

How will I get the courses?

If this is your first time purchasing a course from RepDirect, you should receive a purchase confirmation email that includes information about how to log into your HealthStream Learning Center (HLC) account. You will use this account to access your course. If you've already purchased a course from RepDirect, when you log into your HLC account, your recently purchased course will appear in your to-do list.

What is RepDirect?

RepDirect is a simple way for health care industry representatives (HCIRs) to get high quality on-line credentialing training to prepare them to work in health care settings.

RepDirect has an e-commerce platform that enables individual HCIRs to purchase on-line credentialing training. MedTech companies may purchase group or enterprise access to RepDirect and can learn more by completing a Request Pricing form.

What is the ANSI/NEMA SC1-2019?

The mission of the Consortium for Universal Healthcare Credentialing (Consortium) is to streamline the health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing process in a manner that will protect patient safety and confidentiality, eliminate duplicative efforts and costs, and meet the needs for both suppliers of health care products and services (Suppliers) and health care providers (Providers). The Consortium looks to accomplish this goal by setting written and data standards for credentialing, promoting adoption of such standards, and creating an interoperable process to communicate those standards. What is Vendor Credentialing and why do I need Vendor Credentialing?

Most hospitals now require HCIRs to comply with extensive and unique credentialing requirements to gain access to most areas of the hospital, especially procedural areas such as the operating room and catheterization laboratory.

How can I present evidence of completion?

Students who complete courses in the HCIR Credential Training Bundle will be able to access and print a certificate of completion on RepDirect. HCIRs can use the certificate as proof of completion with hospital administrators, vendor credentialing companies and others who want to ensure the HCIR has been properly trained before being allowed to access the health care setting.
