Q: How will I get the course?

A: If this is your first time purchasing a course, you will receive a purchase confirmation email that includes information about how to log into your Rep Direct HealthStream Learning Center (HLC) account. You will use this account to access your course. If you've already purchased a course from RepDirect, when you log into your HLC account, your recently purchased course will appear in your to-do list.

Q: How can I present evidence of completion?

A: Students who complete courses from RepDirect will be able to access and print a certificate of completion. Certificate of Completion can be uploaded into their ePortfolio or used as proof of credit.

Q: I want to make a purchase for our organization/business.

A: Fill out the Request Pricing form and our representatives will be in touch within 1 business day.

Q: I have a question about a product.

A: For answers to questions during business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST) please use the Contact Us form to connect with a HealthStream team member.

Q: Do I need an account to place an order?

A: Yes, you must have an online account in order to make an individual purchase on repdirect.com.

Q: How do I create an account?

A: Creating an account is easy. Click "Sign In" button; You'll be redirected to our partner, hStream Identity, to create your HealthStream Online Store account. On this page, below the Sign In button, is a link to Register Now; By clicking this link, you'll be redirected to the account creation page. All you need to create an account is a valid email and phone number. Once you've successfully created an account through hStream Account, the system also creates an account for you to access any products you purchase on RepDirect.com. Check your email after you purchase a product for more information about your HLC account.

Q: What are my payment options?

A: RepDirect currently accepts orders through credit card only. After completing your online order, you will have access to the courses you purchased for 12 months.

Q: What is RepDirect?

A: RepDirect is a simple way for health care industry representatives (HCIRs) to get high quality on-line credentialing training to prepare them to work in health care settings. RepDirect has an e-commerce platform that enables individual HCIRs to purchase online credentialing training. MedTech companies may purchase group or enterprise access to RepDirect and can learn more by completing a Request Pricing form.

Q: What is the ANSI/NEMA SC1-2019?

A: The mission of the Consortium for Universal Healthcare Credentialing (Consortium) is to streamline the health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing process in a manner that will protect patient safety and confidentiality, eliminate duplicative efforts and costs, and meet the needs for both suppliers of health care products and services. The Consortium looks to accomplish this goal by setting written and data standards for credentialing, promoting adoption of such standards, and creating an interoperable process to communicate those standards.

Q: What is Vendor Credentialing and why do I need Vendor Credentialing?

A: Most hospitals require HCIRs to comply with extensive and unique credentialing requirements to gain access to most areas of the hospital, especially procedural areas such as the operating room and catheterization laboratory.
